My great grandfather who went to Gallipoli but never came home. He left 2 young sons John and my grandfather Michael aged 8 and 6. They were now orphans as their mother had passed a few years earlier. I never met him but I wish I had learnt more about him when my grandfather was alive. He’s my hero
