Son of Samuel Robert and Louisa Mary Bagshaw, of 72, Drakefell Rd., New Cross, London. Native of Peckham, London. Joined West Kent (Q.O.) Yeomanry, some years prior to war, and served with this regiment in Gallipoli where he was recommended for a Commission.
